How do you validate AI/Copilot-generated DAX or insights?
AI/Copilot-generated DAX and insights should always be validated before being used for business decisions. I would first check whether the DAX syntax and logic are correct, then test the measure against known results or manually calculated sample data.
I would also review the filter context, relationships, data types, and edge cases to make sure the result makes sense. For AI-generated insights, I would trace the insight back to the underlying data and verify the figures, time periods, and assumptions. Copilot can speed up development, but the final result should be reviewed and validated by the user.
